ABOUT GRANBURY

Founded in 1887, Granbury, Texas started as a city square and log cabin court house. Many of the buildings on the square are now registered historic landmarks, including the Granbury Opera House, which still hosts Broadway productions. Recent expansion of the city was made possible by the damming of the Brazos River in 1969, which formed Lake Granbury, a long, narrow lake which flows through the city. Granbury and Hood County are rich in Texas history. David (Davy) Crockett’s wife, Elizabeth, settled in Hood County in 1853 following the Texas Revolution. Several of Crockett’s descendants still reside in Hood County. According to Granbury legend, John Wilkes Booth moved to Hood County and assumed the name of John St. Helen. A store on the historic town square, St. Helen’s, is named after him. The city has enjoyed continuous growth in both its population and local economy since the mid-1950’s. Mortgage and loan buyers in Granbury have seen an increase in business along with the rest of the city. As a local Texas company, Alamo Note Buyers offers a superior understanding of State laws to get you through the process of selling your note faster than anyone else!
We help note sellers turn their problems into cash, even with late payers, non payers, and missing paperwork.
